    Sales Account Manager - Full-Time

    Job description:

    The Junior Account Manager serves as a developmental role within the Sales organization, supporting account growth initiatives, learning to manage existing customer relationships, and developing the skills necessary for advancement into an Account Manager position.

    This position works closely with customers, prospects, and internal teams to drive revenue growth, customer satisfaction, and retention. The Junior Account Manager will generate and grow new business, maintain customer accounts, support promotional campaigns, identify new customer and upsell opportunities, and develop sales skills through ongoing coaching and on the job experiences.

    The primary responsibility of this role is to drive revenue growth by acquiring new accounts and expanding existing businesses. High performers will transition into an Account Manager position. This role offers hands-on experience in account management, sales pipeline management and customer relationship management, building a strong foundation for career advancement within the Quincy Bioscience sales organization.

    Duties and Responsibilities

    Sales & Revenue Growth

    • Generate and grow new business by successfully executing the Quincy Sales Process.
    • Drive revenue within existing accounts through strategic upselling, cross-selling new products, and promotional campaigns.
    • Support sales initiatives and promotional strategies to achieve growth objectives.
    • Consistently meet or exceed sales and performance goals.

    Account Management Support

    • Assist Account Managers with customer projects and assigned initiatives.
    • Monitor account performance and customer purchasing trends.
    • Maintain accurate customer records within CRM systems.

    Customer Relationship Management

    • Build and maintain strong relationships and high level of customer service with existing customers.
    • Serve as a day-to-day point of contact for assigned accounts.
    • Respond promptly to customer inquiries and requests.
    • Resolve customer concerns and coordinate solutions with internal departments.

    Collaboration & Communication

    • Partner with internal teams to support customer needs.
    • Participate in team meetings, collaboration opportunities, and team sales activities.
    • Communicate professionally with customers via phone, email, and video meetings.

    Professional Development

    • Complete development assignments focused on products, sales processes, account management, and customer engagement.
    • Develop sales skills and account management competencies.
    • Progress toward readiness for promotion to an Inside Sales Account Manager position.

    Qualifications and Education Requirements

    • Bachelor’s degree in business management, business administration or related degree OR
    • Associate degree in business plus 2 years equivalent business and sales relevant work experience
    • Excellent verbal/written communication and interpersonal skills, and strong business acumen required
    • Demonstrated ability to use CRM systems, sales technology platforms, and data to manage activity and accounts.

    • High energy level and a positive attitude
    • Strong organizational, time management, attention to detail and multi-tasking skills
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including initiative to cold call
    • Reliability, teamwork and collaboration with all employees
    • Professional phone voice and excellent telephone etiquette
    • Set examples in areas of personal character, attendance, organizational and selling skills, and work habits

    Work Conditions and Physical Effort

    • Work is normally performed in a typical office environment
    • Well-lit work areas, ambient room temperatures
    • Traditional office equipment as found in a typical office environment
    • Regularly required to sit, use a computer and other office equipment, communicate verbally and in writing, and occasionally stand, walk, reach, bend, or lift and carry items weighing up to 15 pounds. Specific vision abilities required include close vision and the ability to adjust focus.
